Let's start the 2nd part of y Indian trip

After 4 week in India, i finally started to ove on my own> right now i'm in jaisalmer, a hotel renuka, in a double room only for me and with private bathroom for .... 250Rs/night (less than 5 euros). I tried to bargain, but impossible. also i think it's possible to get a double room with private bahtroom cheaper, BUT here it's clean! ... and close to the street market :-) AND i got a balconet ... but the view is boring and uninteressant.
Well, i got hot shower!! kind of luxury here!

Now internet is a bit faster, i can take time to write a long article, and tell what happened during this 3 last weeks at shiv.

THE CAMP
We were 11 volunteers the 1st week, then 10, from 18 to 29 years old. 6 guides were working there. They helped us to prepare the class, and for the translation during the lessons. 3 kitchen staffs, 3 house working staff, 1 bus driver are also working there.
I have been in a hat with one australian girl and one german girl. It was a basic hat, with beds and bathroom. of course, no shower. we washed ourself with buckets. it was nice for me. something different.
we have had one visitor last week: a mouse. but no rats. it's only interested in the kitchen. i saw a rat twice. strange sensation... but i'm in india!
food was nice, but no spicy, it's a pity.

THE WORKING AREA
* The morning i was working in a day care center with kids from 2 to 7 years old. the only thing they knew, was "what is your name?" ... and the good morning and good evening songs.
what? you don't know?
- Good morning song:
say good morning, say good morning,
how are you? how are you?
now it's time to listen, now it's time to listen
now, now, now; now, now, now

- Good evening song:
say good bye *2
see you soon *2
hope you have a good day *2
bye bye bye *2
Yeah, they were not the only ones to learn, i learnt as well :-)
so, except these songs, with my group, we learnt fruits & vegs, numbers, animals, colours, and i created a game mixing numbers and fruits/vegs.
but i needed almost 2 weeks to fell confortable with them, and when i was finally very confortable, the programme ended. too bad.
* concerning the afternoon, i was teaching english t girls (15 to 26 y.o) with an english guy. I enjoyed it from the 1st afternoon. it was really nice, and girls were motivated to learn. i think they enjoyed as us. We made some exercices about tenses, pu words in the right way, make some conversations (ect). I had a lot of ideas!

4 weeks (1 week mixing jaipur and travelling to shiv, + 3 weeks working) are too short i think. the 8 weeks programme is better, beause you have time to "create" something.
i know even with 8 weeks programme, we can't change their life, but we have more time to show them something different.

So i think you can feel, it was a great experience for me, even with no shower but buckets, even with dust everywhere, even with mouses and rats, even with no spicy food (kidding :-D)
I don't know if it's gonna change my life, but it was a great idea to participate at this programme. And i think i'm the one (in my group, 5 people) who enjoyed the most.

One last thing before to put this article online. Days are warm (25 degres), it's so good, bt nights are fucking cold, it' crazy!!
